Indeks Massa Tubuh Ibu Pra Hamil Sebagai Faktor Risiko Pertambahan Berat Badan Ibu Hamil di Icelurahan Icebon Kelapa dan Ciwaringin, kecamatan Bogor Tengah, Kota Bogor (Body Mass Index during Pre Pregnancy as the risk factors for increasing body weight among pregnant mothers in Kebon kelapa and Ciwaringin village, Bogor Tengah BogorCity)
ABSTRACT
The first thousand days of life, since child in the womb until 2 years old, determines the quality of the child when they grown up. Weight gain during pregnancy is the best indicators to predict maternal nutritional status than any other physical criteria. Information of factors that affects weight gain during pregnancy is very important to ensure the outcome of pregnancy. Prospective cohort studies in pregnant women have been conducted since 2012 in Kelurahan Kebon Kelapa and Ciwaringin, Kecamatan Bogor Tengah, Kota Bogor. 94 of 201 pregnant women have given birth with gestational age > 37 weeks. Socio-economic of households and maternal obstetric history data were collected as a baseline. Data of anthropometry, the consumption of energy and nutrients, and morbidity were collected every month while data of maternal anemia status was collected once in the second trimester.
Maternal weight gain was 9.9 kg during pregnancy, where it is lower than the 2009 IOM recommendation for pregnant mother (for mean of BMI 23.4 kg/m2), then it is recommended to gain weight 12.5 kg during pregnancy.
