Pengaruh Pemberian Air Perasan Temulawak (Curcuma Xanthorrhiza D. Dietr) Terhadap Parameter Auc Dan Cmaks Ibuprofen Yang Diberikan Secara Oral Da Tikus Jantan Galur Wistar (The Effect of Oral Administration of Temulawak (Curcuma xanthorrhiza D. Dietr) on AUC and Cmax of Ibuprofen in Male Wistar Strain)
Curcumin in Curcuma xanthoryza could inhibit cytochrom P-450 CYP1 A 1, CYP1 A2 and CYP4A. It has been used as herbal remedy safely as anti inflammation. The aim of the research at find the effects of the herbal on AUC and Cmax ibuprofen ofmale rats. Male rats ofWistar strain with bodyweight between 180-200g was used as test animals. Test animals in the control group was given ibuprofen suspension, the treated group were given C. xanthoriza juice for 3 days, and 3 days laterthe test animal were given ibuprofen suspension with dose of 14,4 mg/200g bw. The blood were taken after 0, 30, 45, 60, 90, 120, 240, 300 and 420 minutes. In vitro trial, the correlation coefficient of ibuprofen 0,9992 at wavelength 263 nm with the limit of quantity 84 µg/ mI and limit of lowest quantity 21 µg/ml. In vivo test showed the decreasing of AUC 18,31%, Cmax 1,56% and also the change of Tmax is lower 30 minutes compared to control.
