Desain Filtrasi Berbagai Serbuk Gergaji Kayu Untuk Mengeliminir Logam Berat dan Logam Pada Limbah Cair
The purpose of research is to analyze the effectiveness of various waste sawdust in eliminating heavy metals and metals in waste water by a process of filtration. This experiment, conducted with a .sempte group treatment filtration process using sewdust teak, mahogany and sengon. The design of the study one group pre test post desaign end, then analyzed differences in the ability of sawdust is in the elimination of waste water containing Fe, Cu and Cr. The design filtration dimension 20x20x60 cm, up flow filtration process, detention time of 90 minutes, the replication is done 3 times, sawdust Density 166 kg/m3.
The results showed Teak 5awdust able to eliminate liquid waste containing Fe (63.37%), Cu (29.85%), Cr (59.56%), mahogany eliminate liquid weste containing Fe (52.58%), Cu (35.41%) and er (66.46), while the ability sengon eliminate liquid waste containing Fe (53.46%), Ca (43.84) and Cr (56.70%). Processed effluent containing color and smels like the calar of the wood used, while sawdust has been used colored older. Sawdust adsorbent material can be directly used to eliminate liquid waste containing metals and heavy metals, organic materiais are vulnerable however mushrooms grown, smell and make acolor, turbidity and odor.
