Patients Perception Differences About Nutrition Counseling at Government Hospitals (Budi Asih) and Private Hospital (Pondok Kopi)

Nutrition counseling for out patient its not fully succeeded. It can be shown by the lower number of visitor to nutrition Counseling Clinic. It’s a need to investigate patinet perception about Nutrition Causeling Process and its relationship to tthe comprehension of Nutrition Education at government (Budi Asih) and perivate (Pondok Kopi) hospitals. The aim of this research was to identify and compared the patient perception about Nutrion counseling and its relation to understanding and acceptance between to Hospitals. Samples are outpatients visitis Nutrion Caunseling Clinic. The sample criteria are good communication and wiling to be. Univariete and bivariete (Chi Square and Difference test) were done for data anaysis. Result shows there is no relationship between respondent characteristic and respondent understanding (P>0.05), between ppatients perception about Nutrition Counseling and patient understanding (p>0.05). There was no difference perception of respondent about Nutrition Counseling between two hospitals (p=0.473 and t=0.721) and there is difference of the understand of nutrition Counseling given between two hospitals (p=0.00 and t =-6.028) The recommendation that there should be an application of good Nutriton Counseling Practies, and telephone call be used after two weeks.
