Prostatic Neoplasms (Pembesaran Jinak Prostat)
Benign prostatic overgrowth is the most common of blader outlet obstruction in men over 50 years of age. After the age of 40 androgen production diminishes and glandular hypertrophy and hyperplasia of the prostate occur, progressing with advancing age. General physical evaluation of the patient with benign prostatic enlargement is manditory. Conservative and medical measure of managing the disease may be tried before surgical intervention is considered.
