Faktor yang Mempengrauhi Keputusan Ibu memilih Tempat Persalinan
The main problem Investigated in this study was focused on responses toward the services provided by new private midwivery practitioner based on the popularity of the midwives themselves and the extent of facility completeness, in addition to the perspective and attitude of the consumers. The population under study was all pregnant women who chose to have private midwife practitioners for their delivery, a Total of 8 (eight) private midwife practitioners lacated in the sub-district of Magetan from October to November 2006. Samples were drawn by simple random sampling resulted in a total of 62 respondents. Data were collected by questionnaire accompanied by guided interviews to gather any supporting secondary information of the subjects under study. The study discovered that, altogether, factors such as existin facilities, services, location, price, and products have some influence on the decision in choosing private midwife practisoner as place for having delivery, at a significance level of p = o,000, R²=0.347, SE=35%. Specifically services and price were the primary factors considered by pregnant mothers in selecting the private midwife practioners. The analyses were performed t significance levels of respectively p=0.014, SE=3% for service variable and p=0.048, SE=14% for price variable, with unanimous similar regression line of y=49,324+0,338x1+1,024x2-0,817x3+1,080x40,173x5. The study conducted that there were influence from the factors under study i.e. facilities, services, location, price, and product, in making the decision to chose private midwife practitioners for delivery. Facilities and price factors served as the primary consideration for pregnant mothers in selecting private midwife practitioner, while the price was the most dominant factor in making decision.
