Bioassay Test of Mosquito Coils Mosfly Contains Allethrin, Bioallerthrin and Transfluthrin against Culex P. quinquefasciatus (Uji Biofikasi Obat Nyamuk Bakar Mengandung Allethrin, Bioallethrin dan Transfluthrin terhadap Culex P. quinquefasciatus)
Bioassay test of mosquito coils Mosfly, Baygon R, Elephant (Fumakilla), Komodo R, Dua Kelinci, Flying Swan and Moon Deer, was Conducted in the Laboratory Biological Evaluations of Household Insecticide Products of vector Control Research Station, Salatiga, Mosquito coils were tested against Culex p. quinquefasciatus using Peet Grady and Glass Chambers, with four replications. Standard methods of vector Control Research Unit, Universiti Sains Malaysia, were applied in the study. Results of the revealed low percent mortality for all mosquito coils tested in the Peet Grady Chamber, (average 0.51-2.79 percent). Komodo R and Baygon R mosquito coils showed high efficacy, tested in the Glass Chamber. The average percent mortality were 67.50 percent and 43.30 percent, respectivelly. Elephant (Fumakilla) had the lowest efficacy (average mortality 1.25 percent). The efficacy of Mosfly and Baygon R as well as Flying Swan and Moon Deer, are not significantly different.
