Ectopic Ureter (Ureter Ektopik)
An ectopic ureter empties abnormally into places instead of normal location. This congenital anomaly occurs more frequent in female and commonly associated with ureteral duplication. It is caused by a delay or failure of separation of the ureteral bud from the mesonephric duct during embryologic development. We reported 3 ureter ectopic cases, all are females, 2 cases are associated with ureteral duplication, 1 case without duplication. In the first case, ureter orifice is found at vestibule, the others found at proximal urethra. Diagnostic were based on clinical manifestation, endoscopy and radiological examination.
