Health Promotion Media and its Usage (Media Penyuluhan Kesehatan dan Penggunaannya)

Is not surprising that the fast developments of communication technology may have positive impacts on the availability of various intructional media for medical workers. In order to make the most use of these instructional media, the organizations need to develop strategic plans for using the media, considering their own needs and resources, as well as balancing advantages and limitations. Public health promoters in the hospital now have a variety of instructional media to choose, such as : poster, flipchart, photography, overhead projector, slide projector, filmstrips, radio, cassette recorder, movie, video/television and computer. These media have their own advantages and limitations. Successful public health promotion using media dependents on the appropriate planning in choosing media, designing intructional softwares, technical skill in using media, audience analysis and presentation training.
