The Quantitative Analysis of Chloramphenicol Palmitate Polymorph B Using Infrared Spectrophotometry (Penetapan Kadar Polimorfi B Kloramfenikol Palmitat secara Spektrofotometri Inframerah)
A potassium bromide pellet method in the infrared spectroscopy has been studied to analyze the metastable polymorph of chloramphenicol palmitate quantitativity. By minimizing of the milling time by vibrating mill under the 5 tons of the pellet compression, the transition process of chloramphenicol palmitate crystal form could be avoided. Through the selection of the two peak absorbance ratio of the infrared spectrum with a little mathematic menipulation, the linear standard curve has been obtained.
