The Bioavailability of Salicylate after Administration of Capsul Containing Dispersed Acetosal in a (1:2) Mixture of Polyaethylene Glycol (PEG) 4000 - tween 80 (Ketersediaan Hayati Salisilat setelah Pemberian Sediaan Kapsul Asetosal yang Didispersikan dalam Campuran Poli-Etilen Glikol (PEG) 4000 -tween 80 (1:2)
In order to obtain the corresponding data about the interaction between the drug-PT, and the membrane modification, and to observe the probability of the PT usage as the solid dispersion vehicle, the study of the bioavailability of salicylate after acetosal oral administration which was dispersed into the (1:2) mixture of polyaethylene glycol 4000 - tween 80 had been carried out. The capsul dosage form was administrated orally (300 mg in dose) to the male rabbit, and the drug blood level had been assayed by using the modified Street and Schenk's method. The data showed that the increase of the relative bioavailability and absorption rate coefficient were as caused by the membrane modification and complex interaction processes.
