Resourse Development to Implement AIDS Prevention Programme : An Introduction (Pengembangan Sumber Daya untuk Pelaksanaan Program Penanggulangan AIDS Suatu Pengantar)

This manuscript discusses the national AIDS program in Indonesia specifically how to generate and use resources, considering the experiences of women's health program and sectors related to AIDS prevention programme. The manuscript, first, discusses how to generate local resources to fund AIDS national program, decentralize management and applied integration principle to implement AIDS prevention program at each province in Indonesia. Secondly, it recommends to specify allocation resources for implementing AIDS program within 10 areas of national AIDS program. Finally, it recommendeds to recruit a person from NGOs to work in AIDS commission at national and province level to increase collaboration between Government and NGOs and to maximize the role of NGOs in strengthening AIDS program.
