The Anopheles Larval Survey and Mosquitoes Potention Founded in Malaria Transmission at Kokap, Kulonprogo, Yogyakarta (Survei Jentik Anopheles dan Potensi Nyamuk yang Ditemukan dalam Penularan Malaria di Kecamatan Kokap, Kabupaten Kulonprogo, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta)

Anopheles larval survey have been conducted in mountain streams of Kokap Subdistrict, Kulonprogo regency, DIY. The main purpose of this survey was to determine Anopheles mosquitoes breeds in the stream and its as a potential of malaria transmission in Kokap. The results showed that during dry season malaria vector Anopheles macculatus, and other mosquitoes (An. balabcensis and An. flavirostris) were found breeds in the streams. During rainy seasons no larvae was found since the streams were flooded and they larvae were flooded out. At rainy seasons An. macultus and An. balabacensis larvae were found in the water among the stone hole that found along the streams.
