Pengetahuan Tentang Faktor Risiko, Perilaku dan Deteksi Dini Kanker Serviks dengan Inspeksi Visual Asam Asetat (Iva) Pada Wanita Di Kecamatan Bogor Tengah, Kota Bogor
Cervical cancer incidence in Indonesia was continues to increase and the majority of sufferers are detected at an terminal stage. It can be prevented and detected early if womens have a good knowledge and awareness of early detection.
The aims of analysis is to assess the knowledge of risk factors, behaviors and early detection of cervical cancer in women with VIA at the District Central Bogor, Bogor. Data analysis comes from a subset of baseline data research “Cohort Study of Risk Factors of Non-Communicable Diseases”, using crosssectional design. Assessment of knowledge and behavior was conducted by interviews using a structured questionnaire and examination of the cervix with VIA method. From 3303 female respondents, knowledge of HPV can cause cervical cancer were 17,3%, knowledge of risk factors cervical cancer good categories 19,3 % and 3,8 % ever did VIA. Womens who do not done VIA 1055 people with the reason: Squamo Colummnar Junction (SCJ) are not visible, unmarried, pregnant and other reasons (embarrassment, fear). VIA examination results of 2248 respondents: 98,1 % negative, positive 1,7%, cervical cancers 0,1%. Knowledge on causes and risk factors of cervical cancer remains low. The behavior of examination of early detection is still low. Necessary efforts to increase knowledge, examination of early detection of cervical cancer which conducted with comprehensive and multi disciplinary sectors to prevent cervical cancer.
