This study is a cross-sectional survey design. Collection and examination of finger’s blood was done at night starting at 19:00. Number of people examined were 502. Examination results obtained 4 positive microfilariae (Mf_ rate 0.8 %) of Brugia malayi and the average density of 200/ml. All cases were new cases. These results indicate that the transmission of filariasis is still on going in the district of East OKU so mass treatment is needed to prevent further transmission.
