Pengaruh Terapi tertawa terhadap Kadar Gula Darah Pasien Diabetes Mellitus

ABSTRACT :

The aim of this study is to recognize the influence of laughter therapy towards the blood sugar levels of diabetes mellitus patient at Puskesmas 111 (health center,) South Denpasar in 2013. This study is a quasi eksperimental research: non randomized group pre-test post-test design. The population of the research is the patients of diabetes mellitus who were taken core at the Puskesmas IV (health center) South Denpasar. The sample of this research were 30 patients of diabetes mellitus which consist of 15 patients in treatment group and 1.5 patients for the control group. Sampling techniques by using quota sampling and non-parametric statistical test of Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test and Mann-Whitney test at 95% accuracy level for the data analysis techniques. The result research there is a significant effect (p a 0.001) of laughter therapy on blood sugar levels of patients with diabetes mellitus at Puskesmas IV
