Gambaran Higiene Pedagang Kaki Lima dan Sanitasi Lingkungan di Pasar Sukawati I, kecamatan Sukawati Gianyar Tahun 2013
ABSTRACT.
Food is very likely contaminated so that it can cause diseases. This situation generally happens because of the inadequate implementation of sanitation and hygiene practices. This study aims to describe the hygiene ofstreet vendors and environmental sanitation near them in Pager Sukawati 1.This study is a descriptive research design based on a cross-sectional approach. The population of research was 26 people, so that the sample is all pan of the population.
The results of this study will be presented in the form of a frequency distribution table. Resul of the research shows that there are 30.7% respondents have good individual hygiene and 11.5% respondents have good facility for environmental sanitation, while 88.5% of respondents do not have good sanitation as a street vendor. In addition, based on the characteristics of the respondent this research also shows that adult grup of respondents age between 26-45 years are the commonest, which is counted for 61.6%, female respondents are more than male in number 57.7%, 46.2% of respondents have worked as street vendors for more than 10 years, there were 30.8% respondents who didnk take any educational program and 3.8% respondent were havin the highest level education which is bachelor degree.
