ABSTRACT.

Development Denpasar Sewerage Project (DSDP) is one alternative that is taken by the central government, the province of Bali, Badung regency and in collaboration with the Japanese side to deal with the problems of wastewater in the city of Denpasar and surrounding minimize to high levels of contamination of well water; surface water in the area of Denpasar and high levels of pollution in coastal areas caused by pollution of wastewater Operation of this project is to waste handling problems in the city of Denpasar and surrounding areas in the long term, so as to ensure the smooth operation of the wastewater treatment plant required for the clear SOPs related to DSDP operations so as to minimize the problems that arise in sewage treatment plants operated.

Research is beginning research to gain an overview ofthe knowledge and behavior of people who use services AMP with cross sectional research design with analytic descriptive research. Samples was determined by multistage cluster random sampling and sample selection is done by random sampling.

The results showed an correlation with the knowledge of the behavior of the p value 0. 0.000 < (0.05), the distribution of knowledge about a lot more than a good knowledge about the behavior and distribution are also more than good manners. It is recommended that people in the service area of IMP (Denpasar; Sanur and Kuta) to increase knowledge and manager DSDP conduct outreach by utilizing visual media and audio visual.
