Efektifitas Tehnik Pengukuranan antropometri Dalam Kaitannya Dengan Risiko Diabetes Melitus Tipe 2 di Lingkungan Sawahan Cantikan Jember
ABSTRACT.
Some of the parameters in Diabetes Mellitus (DM), used to measure the presence of fat deposits. The simplest parameter is the anthropometric measurements. From several studies found that anthropometric measurement techniques such as body mass index values (BMI). Waist Circumference (WC), Waist-Hip Ratio (W-HR) and Sagittal Abdominal Diameter (SAD) have a relationship with the second type of diabetes which in this case used filter of Active Blood Glucose (ABG) and Fasting Blood Glucose (FBG) examinations. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the anthropometric assessment in relation to risk of the second type of diabetes. This study is observational analytic study by using cross-sectional design.
This research was conducted in Amber Cantikan Sawahan Environment during May to June 2013 the number of 86 people. Anthropometric measure is the Body Mass Index (BMI), Waist Circumference (WC), Waist-Hip Ratio (W-HR) and Sagittal Abdominal Diameter (SAD). While Active Blood Glucose and Fasting Blood Glucose levels will be measured by using the Accu¬check Active. The results showed the number of obese patients based on BMI (> 25kg/m2) is 40.70%. based on WC by 70.93%, amounting to 55.81% based on W-HR and based on the SAD of 72.09%. While the results of any blood glucose levels showed 59.30%
