ABSTRACT

Research about analysis Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) causing bacteria in RSUD Jayapura has been done in the Regional Health Laboratory ofJcryapura I:LABKESDA) in December 2011 to June 2012. The aims of the research were to know the toes of bacteria found in urine samples UTI subjects, and the most dominant type of bacteria. The research using Poiong lintang design. Identifying bacteria using Mac Conkey Agar media, Vitek Compact 2 and biochemistry test. Total of 16 positive samples from 74 screening samples through the culture test. The results of this study found the presence of 5 types of bacteria cause urinary tract infections. Urinary tract infections bacteria with dominance order i.e. Escherichia coli (62.5%), Enterobacter cloacea (25.0%), Klebsiella pneumonia (18.8%). Acinetobacter baumannii (12.5%), and Proteus mirabilis (6.3%).
