ABSTRACT :

In Indonesia research about commont fish as trand, because many peoples aware that from commont fish good for the patient liver. The aim of this research, is the Sentani gudgeon could be as hepatoprotector to mice liver, and how will the destruction of mice liver cause of rifampicin. In the method of the recearch are design with simple posttest experimental with control group design, with twenty male Swiss Webster mice were divided into three groups. The firts groups are negative control was treated with standard fed without rifampicin, the second groups are positive control was treated a mixture of rifampicin 150 mg/gram BB and standar: fed per oral, and the third groups is treatment groups was treated a mixture of rifampicin 150 mg/grain BB and sentani gudgeon. Results microscopic analysis show that the liver damage occurs on control group positive there are four kinds of cells, any two kinds cells that dentage on treatment group.
