ABSTRACT :

The aim of this reseach is to isolate and Identify the toxichy of Bacillus thuringiensis obtained from various soil in the res each forest area of Cenderawasih University campus,Waena,Papua. The study was conducted in (2011) and the soil samples were collected from 20 locations cons & of 5 spots with 50 cm interval. The toxicity of all isolates of Bacillus thuringiensis were tested against 20 mosquito larvae of Curer sp (3 Replicates). A total of 290 bacterial isolates were revealed from 100 soil samples. which were collectedfrom the study areas and 19 isolates were fiend toxic agaist Culex sp larvae with average mortality rate > 50%.
