Penerapan Nutrition Care Process (NCP) Pada Pasien Diabetes Melitus Tipe 2 di Rumah Sakit Umum Provinsi NTB Berpengaruh Pada Perbaikan Asupan Zat Gizi dan Kadar Glukosa Darah

The research objective was to determine the effect of the application of NCP to the nutrient intake and blood glucose levels in type 2 diabetes patients in NTB Province hospitals. This study is Randomized Control Trial with pretest-posttest design with control group. Treatment groups got NCP, and conventional nutritional cam for control groups. Effect of the intervention were analyzed by paired West test and independent west The sample totaled 29 people, ( 13 mated group and 16 control group), 32.75% were 40-60 years old.
Application of NCP affected the improvement of fat intake (p = 0.045). Blood glucose levels in the treated group decreased 171.69 mg/dl (SD + 98.17), in the control group was 3631 mg /di (SD ± 125.64). There are significant differences in blood glucose levelsbetween the treatment and the control group (p = 0.003). Application of NCP effect on the improvementof nutrient intake and blood glucose levels in type 2 diabetes patients.it is advisable to provide NCP indiabetic patients and other patients who arc malnotuished or at risk of malnutrition.
