Pengaruh Pendekatan Supportive-EDucative "Orem" 'Terhadap Peningkatan Kemandirian Ibu Nifas Dalam Perawatan Diri Selama Early Post Partum di Puskesmas Karang Taliwang Mataram Nusa Tenggara Barat

ABSTRACT:

Post panum care Is critical but often overlooked. Risk often occur during the first week post partum, so that the recovery of health is very important. Supportive and educative role of the nurse is needed to allow the patient to perform self care. The purpose from "Orem" toward the increase of postnatalmaternal self reliance Inself care during the early post parturm. This was aquasy experiment research using pretest-Posttest control group design. One group, consisting of 20 respondent. Were given guidance teaching on self care during the first week post partum with three times visit.Another group of 20respondent served as control.

The sampel were selected by consecutive sampling. Data collection was done by Measuring the level of independence using observation sheet before and after guidance teaching. Statistical test wereused to identify the different of independat before and after treatment using wilcoxon signed rank test.

The result showed increasingindependent for post partum mother before and after the guidance teaching in p(0,0001) < 0,005. Guidance and teaching necessary to post partummother independent in self care.
