Penggugusan Provinsi di Indonesia Berdasarkan Kondisi Kesehatan Clustering of Provinces in Indonesia Based on Health Condition

ABSTRACT

A multstage sampling procedure is often used in conducting a research tnac represents all 33 provinces in Indonesia, and the first step for the pro-pet re is the sample selection of provinces. In the area of health research, 1 is recommended that the province selection is based on the stall caton of prcvinces sing health related variables. Cluster analysis is a stafisticai lechnique possibly employed utihzing data from many sources. In tfts appricafion, it involves 27 imporant health variables which reflect im¬pclant communicable d seases and nutritional status, access to health snices. demographic situation, human development index, and financial factor. This cluster analysis produces four clusters e provtnce, wit each of them comprising of 4, 8,7, and 14 provinces. This statistical dustering tech¬nique al provinces can be implemented and considered in the sampling recess of provinces in Indonesia using the updated data.
