ABSTRACT
Recurrent abdominal pain is defined as the occurence of at least 3 episodes of abdominal pain during at least 3 months within 1 year causing limita6on of activities. It was found in more than 10% of children and lead to high rates of school inattendance. Organic causes was found in 5 IOR cases while 90-95% cases are due to functional disorder of the gastrointestinal tract. Diagnosis should definitely be based on overall d nical approach. Education for patients and families are very important.
