Hepatitis Autoimun (Autoimmune Hepatitis)
ABSTRACT
A 22-year-old man was referred to our hospital because of liver dysfunction with increased serum levels of AST/SGOT (757 IU/I) and ALT/ SGPT (345 IU/I). Histological findings after liver biopsy were compatible to auteimrnune hepatitis (AIH). He was formerly admitted to other hospital 3 months ago, and diagnosed with acute viral hepatitis, but his serurr level transamInase remains elevated, he had negative hepatitis viral marker, hypergammagtobdinemia and liver biopsy compatible to autolmmune hepatitis (AlH). Treatment with rrethylprednisolone 16 mg once daily and heoatoprotector resulted in decreased serum level transaminase and clinical improvement.
