Estimasi Tingkat Risiko Kardiovaskular dengan Systemic Coronary Risk Estimation (SCORE) (Estimation of the Level of Cardiovascular Risk Factors with Systemic Coronary Risk Estimation)
ABSTRACT:
Current recommendations on the prevention of coronary heart disease in clinical practice stress the need to base intervention on an assessment of the individual's total burden of risk rather than on the level of any particular risk factor. This is because most people have several risk factors which interact to produce their total risk. There is a need for clinicians to be able to estimate total risk of cardiovascular disease. Many risk assessment system are available, one of them is SCORE. 2011 ESC (European Society of Cardiology) guideline recommends SCORE for estimating 10-year risk of fatal cardiovascular disease. People are classified into very high risk, high risk, moderate risk, or low risk groups. Those at very high, high risk, and moderate groups are managed by life style modification and drug therapy as needed. Low risk people should be given advice to help them maintain this status.
Key words: SCORE, 10-year risk estimation, classification, life style changes, drug therapy
