Praktek Budaya Perawatan Kehamilan di Desa Gadingsari Bantul. Yogyakarta (Cultural Practice of Pregnancy Care In Gadingsari Village, Bantul, Yogyakarta)

The poorfamilies in Bantul Yogyakarta is still quite high, but this district including the big of 10 from all districts/cities in lndonesia with Community Health Development Index (CHDI) is well, which one indicator of maternal and children health (MCH) quite well. Possible same factors of socio-cultural played to support the health status in district of Bantul. Data collection use indeptli interview and observations were also conducted on the number of objects related to MCH. Various restrictions and suggestions related rituals and traditions sach as future pregnancy a mother is obedience executed in public life Gadingsari village of Bantul. A bstinence and recommended not to eat certain types ef food variaty that are believed to be spcific affect the health of pregnant women and fetuses in question contains. Various social traditions sech as rituals related to future pregnancy women still held the hope that the mother and baby bom safely and healthy. Taboos and suggestions and traditions still nm a practice culture based on the values and culture of traditional conception. Traditional beliefs about the various restrictions and suggestions with food intake and various rituals and action when a pregnant besides negative impact also had a positive impact. This is one efforts made hy the public as a form of monitoring pregnancy traditionally so this has a positive impact.
