Malaria remainsa public health problem in more than 100 countries. The prevalence of th is disease in the world is estimated at 300-500 millian clinical cases eachyear. Symptoms / clinical manifestations ofmalaria are varied. Manyfactors can affect the severity ofthe clinical man ifesta tions, including agent, host and environment. The aim of th is study was to determine which clinical symptoms appearmost in patients with malaria jn Buton, Southeast Sulawesi. This was a cross sectional study. Anamnesis, physical exomination, and malaria microscopy were conducted. 9 patients were positive for P. folciparum. Most of the patients were male (89%) and 22% of the patienstwerechildren (5, 15 years old). In addition. 78% patients were in productive age (16 - 45 yaers old). Clinical symptoms found in patients with uncomplicated falciparum malaria include headaches, pale, muscIe aches, chilis, and dizziness.
