Hospitals as health advice to the public, the gathering place for the sick and healthy people, which is possible may cause environmental pollution and health problems. Based on this study it/s necessary to known medical waste management efforts that have been implemented at the General Hospital City of Madison. This type of research is a descriptive study. Data obtained from the data obesrvasi amount of medical waste in hospitals all over the room Madiun from 6 s / d July 11, 2011 was 179.5 kg, with an average per day was 29.9 kg/day. At this stage of medical waste management is the process is still quite good shelters, as well as the transport process is fair, the process of destruction has also been good, while for the category of managers enough. In general, medical waste management efforts in the General Hospital City of Madison has included almost all good, though there is still a small percentage that are less good. So it/s advisable to have a few things in accordance with the provisions in order to be maintained, while for some things that did not exist or does not meet the provisions, in order to be provided and further enhanced.
