Hubungan Pemberantasan Sarang Nyamuk DBD dan Pencegahan Gigitan Nyamuk Aedes aegypti dengan Kejadian DBD (Relationships mosquito nest eradication of dengue and Aedes aegypti Mosquito Bite Prevention with dengue incidence)
Dengue hemorrhagic fever is a public health problem in North Lampung regency. In the years 2007 to 2010 experienced a downward trend, the 2007 dengue incidence rate of 42.85 per 100,000 population increased to 57.4 per 100,000 in 2011, until the end of March 2012 the number of cases more than 350 cases, but in the year 2011 increased outstanding, so that the Government of North Lampung regency set as outbreaks local research 4.The purpose of this research is to know the relationship habits to eradicate mosquito breeding (PSN) and the prevention of mosquito bites with the incidence of dengue in North Lampung regency Kotabumi. Design of case control studies with a total sample of 406 individuals consisting of 203 cases and 203 controls. Data was collected through interviews and observation. The survey results revealed no association with the incidence of PSN habit of dengue hemorrhagic fever. Individuals who do not have a 3M risk of 4.45 (95% CI: 2.38 to 8.30) times with DHF compared with individuals who did 2M or 3M. Individuals who do 1M (drain or cover or bury it) risk of 2.67 (95% CI: 1.46 to 4.89) times suffer from DHF compared with individuals who did 2 M or 3 M after controlled variables for an object that can be hold water around the house and bite prevention mosquito habits. There is a relationship between habits to prevent mosquito bites associated with the incidence of dengue. Individuals who do not perform mosquito bite prevention risk 5.43 (95% CI: 3.14 to 9.36) times with DHF compared with individuals who did 2 and 3 types of mosquito bite prevention. Individuals who did one mosquito bite prevention (using the repellent on skin or anti mosquito repellent or spray the room with insecticide) 2.03 times the risk of suffering from dengue compared with individuals who did 2 and 3 types of mosquito bite prevention after controlled with knowledge and the existence of objects that can hold water around the house.
