Faktor Yang Berhubungan Dengan Status Gizi Balita Di Icelurahan Rantau Indah Kecamatan Dendang Kabupaten Tanjab Timur Provinsi Jambi (Related factors - factors to nutrition status of children in ward shoreline tanjab beautifueastern district district Jambi province)

Protein Energy Malnutrition (PEM) is still one of the major nutritional problems in Indonesia. In 2003, an estimated 27.5% of infants had less nutritional disorders, including 8.5% severe malnutrition. According to WHO (1996), the prevalence of PEM in Indonesia is high, > 30% . Factors that influence child development consists of food security, health conditions, family food security, parenting, health care utilization and environmental sanitation, with the underlying cause of the economic structure. This study aims to examine the relationship of knowledge, maternal parenting and economic status of the nutritional status of children in Sub Rantau Beautiful in 2012. The study was conducted using a cross sectional design is as much 430 toddler toddler's mother. Technique sampling proportional random sampling amounted to 86 mothers toddler. Analysis of the data using univariate and bivariate data analysis. The study, of 86 respondents, nutrition thin (18.6%), nutrition obese (51.2%) and nutrition obsitas (30.2%), the majority of respondents (68.8%) knowledgeable, most respondents (82.6%) had good parenting pol, most respondents (70.9%) had a good economy. There is a significant relationship between economic knowledge and nutritional status of children and there is no relationship between parenting the nutritional status of children. Dendang for health centers that can be used as information for health workers in the implementation of its program to improve the nutritional constraints found in Dendang Village Health Center and the beautiful seacoast seacoast Beautiful Village in order to increase the return UKBM (Community Based Health Enterprises) that already exist and can carry workplace health programs with health workers at the health center.
