Pengaruh Isotretinoin Terhadap Perkembangan dan Nilai Sgpt-Sgot Anak Mencit Selama Masa Laktasi (The Effect of lsotretinon on the development of SGPT-SGOT values young mice during lactation)
ABSTRACT
The administration of high dose of isotretinoin currently used in dermatological treatments provokes malformation in CNS. More recent work has suggested that isotretinoin may influence the adt.:4 brain and may also cause increasing of liver enzymes product. This research observe the effect of isotretinoin on behavioral development and liver of suckling mice. Twenty four pregnant mice were randomly divided into 4 groups namely control and treatments with oral dose of isotretinoin 9, 1; 18, 2 and 36, 4 mg/kgBW/day. Mice were allowed to gi-e birth spontaneously and were given isotretinoin from the first day of partus until complete day of lactation (21 days). The development of mice behavior was conducted by Behavioral Test Battery from the age of 5 to 21 days and SGPT-SGOT levels were measured spectropi iotometrically at mice age of 21 and 26 days. Behavior development, showed differences compared to the control group in the reflex ability in turning the body from supine to prone position, avoiding the gap, motor ability and the hindrance of the ability of the vision and hearing, especially at doses of 18,2 and 36,4 mg/kgBW/day. From the results of the research, there was also the effect of isotretinoin on SGPT-SGOT activity of mice that were significantly affected by the dose and the age factors of mice (F count > F table).
