Penggunaan Metode Disc Dalam Menilai Kesesuaian Gaya Kepribadian Kepala Ruangan Dengan Tuntutan Jabatan (The Useness of DISC Method in Evaluating Personality Style Appropriateness of Ward Manager with Position Demand)
ABSTRACT
Nursing care could not been done optimally if not properly managed by the head nurse. The head nurse used a leadership style that is highly individualized. Therefore, the performance of head nurse to develop implementers will vary between units to each other. This research is a quallitatif wit phenomenology approach, performed at the Cibinong hospital on September to October, aims to find out the suitability between personality styles with a head job demands which became the responsibility of iilformants in this study was 5 head nurse and 3 person nurses from each room. Instruments in this research is indepth interview. The results it can be concluded that there is a mismatch between personality styles with a head job demands include a role model, make changes and innovations as well as able to manage conflict, meanwhile the whole head nurse has a personality style Sand C is discrete, prefer to avoid conflict, succumbing to not cause conflicts, avoiding the bickering and also pleased the situation calm, without changes. The advice of this research is to do pembinan to the head of the chamber of leadership including conflict management and change.
