Perilaku Masyarakat Dalam Pencegahan Demam Berdarah Dengue Antara Zona Hijaudan Zona Merah (Community Attitude in Preventing Dengue Hemorargic Fever between Green and Red Zon-e)
ABSTRACT
Dengue Hemorargic Fever (DHF) is a disease caused by virus infection which is endemic in Indonesia and brings many health problems in the community. The virus transmits a disease to human bodies by biting of Aedes aegypti and Aesdes albovirus mosquitoes. In Jakarta, in 2009, there were 28,361 cases with afect to death of 26 people (CFR 0.09%). The purpose of this research was to gain description of preventive behavior due to DHF between green and red zones at the community of Community., Health Center of Pulogadung in 2012. The research design was cross sectional, in which the populations were all families in the work area of Community Health Center of Pulogadung, with the samples were parents whom can be represented by the head of families or the spouses, adult family members and healthy of physical and spiritual. It iwere 196 respondents. The data collection used the questioner which directly filled up by respondents, then analyzed using chi square. The result showed the data which related to preventive behavior of DHF at green zone are variables of knowledge, attitude and carried out of information, meanwhile at red zone is carried out of information. The recommendation of this study for Health District Officier of East Jakarta is to enhance the preventive behavior of DHF in the community by using all the available communication pathways.
