Dukungan Suami Dalam Pemilihan Metode Kontrasepsi Jangka Panjang (Husband's-Support in Selecting Method of Long Term Contraception)

ABSTRACT
Total Fertility Rate ( TFR ) in Indonesia is 2.3 children per woman. Government pressed the population growth with family planning programs that is the long-term contraceptive method ( LTM ) i.e IUD, implant, MOP/MOW. Phenomenon that occur in the community that decision-makers to use family planning is husband including the selection of contraceptive research. This research is aimed to describe about factors that related to the using of LTM. Entire study population planning acceptors in the working area of Matraman Community Health Center, with 90 sample. Cross sectional studywere used as a design. The results obtained Variables significantly associated ( p = < 0.01) were age, number of children, health status, knowledge and support of husband The husband suppport is the most dominant factor, after knowledge and the number of children. The result of this study suggested the need to increase support of husband with the counseling included, socialize LTM programm, increase the motivation of participants to move and encouveraging non LTM can be change to LTM
