ABSTRACT
Anticancer activity test in vitro of the compound of hexane fraction from the leaf of "tampa badak" (Voacanga foetida (81) K. Schum) against Leukemia L1210 cell line by direct counting using Haemocytometer and trypan blue staining has been conducted. Anticancer activity test at concentration of pure compound 1, 2, 4, 8, and 16 ppm, respectiwely, while the concentration doxorubicine at 0.04, 0.08, 0.16, 0.32 and 0.64 ppm. Data were analyzed by probit analysis to obtain IC50 value. The IC5, value of pure compound is 1.8344 pg/mL. The result indicate that the compound is potential as anticancer.
