Karakteristik Lingkungan Fisik, Biologi, dan Sosial di Daerah Endemis DBD Kota Banjar Tahun 2011 (Characteristics of Physics, Biology, and Social Environment in DHF Endemic of Banjar City in 2011)
Dengue Haemmorhagic Fever (DHF) is an infectious disease caused by dengue virus transmitted by Aedes aegypti as a main vector. This research aims to study the characteristics of the physics, biology and social environment in DHF endemic of Banjar City. The purpose of this research was to see the characteristics of the physical environment, biology and social. This is a descriptive and cross sectional study. The results show that the characteristic of the physical environment includes: the density of house area: high endemic (517,884 units/km2), moderate endemic (271,713 and 331,584 units/km2), and low endemic (392,171 units/km2); the existence of container: high endemic (95,9 percent), moderate endemic (95 and 100 percent), and low endemic (100 percent); air temperature in house: high endemic (27, 47°C), moderate endemic (17 and 27, 93°C), and low endemic (26,85°C); indoor humidity: high endemic (56,71 percent), moderate endemic (60,2 and 62,47 percent), and low endemic (65,43 percent); the presence of hanging clothes: high endemic (89,8 percent), moderate endemic (80 and 85 percent) and low endemic (81,8 percent); the existence of gauze: high endemic (30.6 percent), moderate endemic (10 and 25 percent), and low endemic (27.3 percent); the presence of ornamental plants: high endemic (61,2 percent), moderate endemic (30 and 95 percent), and low endemic (81,8 percent); the existence of the farm yard: high endemic (98 percent), moderate endemic (75 and 95 percent), and low endemic (100 percent); the existence of mosquito larva: high endemic (27 percent), moderate endemic (20 and 35 percent), and low endemic (36 percent). High endemic area of DHF are mostly Senior High School graduated, while mostly Junior High School graduated in low endemic area. Most of them have the same job, namely self employee and housewive. Most have the same income of Rp 750,000-1,000,000/month. The mobility of population: high endemic (49 percent), moderate endemic (55 and 85 percent), moderate endemic (100 percent). The existence of DHF-concerned groups: high endemic (40.8 percent), moderate endemic (20 and 50 percent), low endemic (45.5 percent). PSN activities: high endemic (61,2 percent), moderate endemic (95 percent), and low endemic (100 percent).
