Waktu Aktivitas Mengiiisap Darah Nyamuk Aedesaegypti dan Aedes Albopictus di Desa Pallanassang Kelurahan Barombong Makassar Sulawesi Selatan (Period of Sueking Activity of Aedes Aegypti and Aedes Albopictus Mosquito at Pa'lanassang Village Barombong District Makassar South Sulawesi)
Dengue haemorrhage fever is one of the disease which commonly attact the Indonesian community and caused by the dengue virus infected by Aedes aegypti mosquito as main vector and Aedes albopictus as potential vector. Both of the mosquito have sucking activity early in the morning at 06.00 am to afternoon at 17.00 pm. A research in Malaya Peninsula showed that both Ae.aegypti and Ae.albopictus sucking person at down untill musk. The research is aimed to determine the period of blood sucking activity of Ae.aegypti and Ae. albopictus mosquito in Pa'lanassang village, Barombong District, Tamalate, Makassar. The location is selected by the non endemic criteria and sampling of houses done by the survei of existing of Ae. aegypti and Ae. albopictus. Sampling conducted in 15 houses at 06.00 am to 03.00 am using volunteer of people in the house and outside of the houses. The results showed that the activity of Ae. aegypti mosquito was highest at 17.00 pm to 18.00 indoors and outdoors, while the activity of Ae. Albopictus mosquito differ between indoors was highest at 16.00 pm to 17.00 pm and outdoors was highest at 09.00 to 10.00 a.m. The lowest activity of both species happen at 12.00 am to 14.00 pm outdoors. It is also noted from the study that both species also active and sucking person at night.
