Pemanfaatan Completeness sebagai Koreksi Angka Kematian Hasil Registrasi Kematian dan Sp-2010 (To Use Completeness for Mortality Rate from Mortality Registration and Cencus 2010)
Mortality rate is a specific indicator to evaluate health program. We can calculate mortality rate from survey, registration, and cencus data, but ussualy we found under reported data, and we need a correction factor. We can use completeness for correction factor of mortality rate and it can be gained from registration and cencus which are independent methods of data collection. This study used mortality data from Metro City, Surakarta City, Pekalongan District, and Gorontalo District, and the data was matched to Indonesian Cencus 2010. Completeness in Metro City is 66 percent (the correction factor is 1,5), Surakarta City is 74 percent (the correction factor is 1,35), Pekalongan District is 40 percent (the correction factor is 2,5) and Gorontalo District is 53 percent (the correction factor is 1,9). Completeness on over 50-year-old group is higher than others, which mean that the mortality registration system reporting on that group is better than the other. The use of correction factor for calculating mortality rate is still needed, and further effort should be made on the study of specific mortality rate.
