Studi Reservoir dan Distribusi Kasus Leptospirosis Di Kabupaten Gresik Tahun 2010 (Reservoir and Distribution Case Studies Leptospirosis in Gresik Regency in 2010)
Leptospirosis is one of zoonosis disease that spread widely in the world. This disease found in some species of animals and human, domestic animals as reservoar of leptospirosis are dog, cat, goat, pig and cow and rodent specially rat. According to International Leptospirosis Socienty (ILS) Indonesia is country with high leptospirosis incidence and in 3"I rank for leptospirosis mortality in the world. Leptospirosis had caused mortality in some of district or city in Indonesia, one of that districts is Gresik. Data from Gresik District showed in the year of 2009 there were 17 leptospirosis cases with 5 mortality. This study aimed to describe reservoir and distribution of leptospirosis cases in Gresik Distrit, East Java Province. Incrimination of leptospira bacteria at rat and diagnosis leptospira in human by using Raapid Diagnostic Test (RDT) for leptospirosis had been done in this study. Leptospirosis data taken from secondary and primary data by doing screening leptospirosis case in Primary Haelth Centre. This research was descriptive epidemiology research with cross sectional design. Result of this research showed leptospirosis cases in Gresik District in the year of 2010 as much 27 cases. Leptospirosis cases distribution mostly found in Duduk sampeyan Sub district(8 cases), 58% man and in the age more than 50 years (48%). Serology test by using Microscopic Aglutination Test (MAT) at suspect of leptospirosis showed from 12 had been tested as much 7 (58,3%) showed positive reaction with strain leptospira that used in the test. Serovar from bacteria that showed positive reaction were Bataviae, Rachmat, Pomona, Grippotyphosa, Hardjo, Bataviae, kterohaemorrhagiae, Tarrasovi, and Australis. Rat species that found in survey location were Rattus tanezumi, Rattus norvegicus Mus musculus, Bandicota bengalensis, M. cervicolor dan Suncus murinus. Serology test in rat serra by using MAT showed 9,8% (n=132) positive reaction with strain L. hardjo, L.bataviae, Lichterohaemoragie, L.australis, Lgrippotyphosa, L.rachmati and Lpomona. Trap success as much 21,18% outdoor and indoor was 31,60%. There was same strain bacteria that found in rat and human showed that rat as reservoir for leptospirosis transmission in leptospirosis cases in Gresik District.
