Determinan Kejadian Komplikasi Persalinan Di Indonesia (Analisis Data Sekunder Survei Demografi Dan Kesehatan Indonesia Tahun 2007) {Determinant Factors on Delivery Complication in Indonesia, 2007 (in-dept analysis of Demographic and Health Survey 2007)}
In-dept analysis of Demographic and Health Survey 2007 data is to identify the determinant factors of the delivery complication in Indonesia. Samples were women aged 15-49 years who gave birth to 5 years before the survey. In this article the last child born in the amount of 15.334 was analyzed. Dependent variable is delivery complication. It is known that the proportion of the delivery complication in Indonesia between the period of 2002-2007 as much as 43.7%. The result: determinant factors of the delivery complications are parity 1/>4 children, complications of pregnancy, a history of delivery complications before, the problems in getting health care, a minimum of antenatal visits, birth attendance by health workers and place of birth. And the most dominant factor associated with the delivery complication is the history of delivery complication with an odds ratio of 5.52. So it is expect the cooperation of all instututions to reduce the number of delivery complication from the central to local health centers with integrated antenatal care as a part of antenatal care program for early detection of high-risk pregnancy.
