Kajian Motivasi Perawat Dan Bidan Terhadap Pengembangan Manajemen Kinerja (PMK) Di Kabupaten Banyumas
Background: ln principle. nursing and midwifery service in health service system is a process of professional service provided by nurses and midwives to individual person. household. community groups. and society; either in fit or iI! condition. on the basis of existing nursing and midwifery norrns. Motivation encourages the nurses and midwives to provide quality and professional health services. Therefore motivation is required to accompany the work performance of health service to the community in order to give impact on health level enhancement.
One of efforts to reduce AKI and AKP, which has the relative rapid impact, is by presenting a qualified and public oriented nursing and midwifery service, which is also supported with high affordability and quality of referral service. 30% of midwives have contributed their services in personal practices (IBI, 2002). Motivation encourages the nurses and midwives to provide quality and professional health services. Therefore motivation is required to accompany the work of health service to community in order to give impact on health level enhancement
Objective: ln order to identify the nurses and midwives' motivation towards the Development of Performance Management in Banyumas District.
Method: Research design of Cross Sectional Study is applied by using of primary data which is elicited from surveys in Banyumas District. Populations in this study are nurses and midwives worked in Banyumas District. The criteria for sampie in this research are nurses and midwives who worked in health services, and selected by technique of simple random sampling in order to obtain overall description regarding the development of performance management on the nurses and rnidwives.
Result: There is impact of the nurses and midwives' motivation towards the Development of Performance Management in Banyumas District, in which the statistic test result is p=0,033 The value of analysis result is OR =3,908, which means that respondents with low motivation have 2,538 chances to gain low development of performance management compared to high motivation respondents.
Conclusion: Motivation has effect on the develo ment of performance mana ement on the nurses and rnidwives.
