Family planning is aneffective way to prevent maternal andchild mortality, and therefore lack of knowledge on the potential accept or affects the use of contraceptive sparticularly Intra Uterine Device (IUD) contraception. This study aims to determine the relationship of knowledge women of child bearing age on IUD contraception with the attitude of fertile age women in selecting the IUD. Bendan health centers in the region of 6457 there were women of child bearing age. Research carried out a descriptive study of correlation, with the main objective to create or a description of the Relationship Fertile Female Age on IUD contraception with the attitude of women of child bearing age in the IUD selects. Population many as 396 people from the samples taken by 40 respondents. The results showed that the respondents have good knowledge of as ma ny as 13 respondents (32.5%), knowledge is quiteas much as18 respondents (45.0%), andareless knowledge able about 9 respondents (22.5%). Respondents who chose IUD with a positive attitude, there were 13 respondents (32.5%) and who chooses IUD contraception with a negative attitude there are 27 respondents (67.5%). By using the spearman ranktest statisticsin getting the p-value 0.006, which means there is a relationship between the Knowledge Age Fertile Women on IUD contraception with the attitude of women of child bearing age in selecting the IUD contraception. Fertile age women are expected can to dig up information about the IUD contraception either from health, from print and electronic media.
