Isolasi Amilum Pisang Kepak (Musa Paradisiaca Var Abb) Serta Modifikasinya (Isolation of Banana Starch And Lis Moditicetion)
Starch is one' oipolysaccharide compounds from plant, usually used as the excipients for tablet processing. Banana is one of source of starch due to its high concentration of carbohydrates especially for pisang kepok (Musa paradisiaca var ABB). The research of banana starch isolation has been conducted for using in tablet process as excipients. The aim of this research to understand the function of banana starch as tablet excipients The research starts by isolation banana starch and then modified of its isolation to get granule form. All kinds of starch evaluated on qualitative properties and its physics properties .. And finally the data analyzed theoretically and statistically to get its conclusion. The result showed that banana starch could be isolated, fulfill properties as pharmacopoeia standard, can be modified to be a granule form, sa its flowability is very good. It is predicted can be used as direct compression tablet excipients.
