Cancer is a disease that has become a public health problem. both in the world and in Indonesia. since the level of mortality caused by the disease is rather high. This number can be reduced if the detection of cancer can be done as early as possible In order to achieve tbis, a program called the National Cancer Control Program (NCCP) is conducted with the aims are to reduced the number of cancer cases, deaths and also improve quality of life of cancer patients. This study discusses how information technology can assist in the success of the NCCP through the use of computer software to support the cancer registration system in Indonesia. The method used in this study is through a study of literature of cancer registry management that have been published and also through analysis of two cancer registry software (Srikandi and CANREG 5) that have been used in the process of cancer registry in Indonesia. Result is a system design to improve cancer registry system in Indonesia.
