Hubungan Antara Stres Dengan Tekanan Darah Pada Pasien Pre Operasi Di Ruang Bedah Rsud Dr Wahidin Soediro Husodo Kota Mojokerto (Rela Tionship Between Stress In Patients With Blood Pressure in The Pre Surgical Opera Tion Dr. Wahidin Soediro Husodo Hospital)

This research is a kind of analytical research with cross sectional design aimed at knowing the relationship between stress and blood pressure. The population in this study were al! patients treated in the pre operation Nursing dr. Wahidin Soediro Husodo Mojokerto in May 2012, while the sampIe is a portion of the population as many as 58 people were selected by simple random sampling.
The results showed that nearly all patients pre-surgery stress and stress no small part to the patient's blood pressure while operating pre largely increased blood pressure and nearly half of normal blood pressure, and no association between stress and high blood pressure are the patient's pre-surgery stress followed by increased blood pressure (P = 0.000). For nurses need to identify stress in patients pre operation quickly, and right from the patient decided to undergo surgery. Nurses should be able to cope with stress prior to surgery through stress management so that optimal mental and physical condition in the face of the operation in the hospital, the hospital management the need for aseparate pre-surqery stress on patients, be conducted on the patient and family to see the operating rooms and space recovered unconscious and postoperative patient's condition before the surgery so that the patient is more cooperative and not stress in the face of the operation, the need for energy assistance psychiatrist/psychologist in patients with severe and very severe stress.
