Hubungan Pola Makan dan Rasio Lingkar Pinggang Pinggul Dengan Kadar Kolesterol Total Pada Anggota Dan Pegawai DPRD Kota Jayapura Tahun 2011 (Correlation Food Pattern And Measure Waist Hip Ratio With Total Cholesterol Level At Member And Public Servant Parlement in Jayapura 2011)
Cholesterol is nutrient substsnce which required by body like other nutrient substance.
Cholesterof"normally is produced by body ln amount precisely. But its amount can be high level because fatty food input which consumed. The purpose of the research was to find correlation food pattern and measure waist hip ratio with total cholesterol level at member and public servant parliament in Jayapura 2011. The research was analytic with cross sectional design that has been done on May 2011. The sampIe of this reseerdted consist of 54 people. The data analyzed by chi-square with confidence interval 95 %.
The result showed that respondent have food pattern are bad (54%) with input of fat and cholesterol are more than requirement (53,7%). Respondent have normal measure waist hip ratio (75,9%). Respondent total cholesterollevel more than 200 mg/dl (52%). Statistic result show that there were relation food pettern with total cholesterol level (p=0,00). There were not relation wetst hip ratio with total cholesterollevel (p=0,429). There were defference between member and public servant parliament in Jayapura.
