Hubungan Kecerdasan Emosional Dan Minat Sosial Dengan Prestasi Belajar Mahasiswa Kebidanan

This research aims to find out if there is a relationship of emotional intel!igence and social interests with midwifery's student learning achievement on. The subjects in this research is to the studentd of Study Program Diploma III Midwifery Stikes Maharani Malang with proportional random sampling technique of 100 students. The subject is asked to fil! out ii number of items that exist on a scale of emotional intelligence and social interests. Based on data analysis using regression analysis obtained Fhitung = 7,506 with P = 0.001 (p < 0.01), and the effective contribution of 13.4% (SE).
These findings suggest that there is a significant relationship to simultaneously or jointly between emotional intelligence and variable social interest with variable learning achievement in midwifery students. Next to the result rx1.y = 0,200 with with p = 0,047 (p < 0.05), meaning that there is a significant positive correlation between emotional intelligence and learning achievement, then results rX2.; = 0,271 with P = 0.007 (p < 0.01). It means there is a significant positive correlation between social interests with student learning achievements. These findings suggest that the higher the social interest in the achievement of learning will be even higher. The conclusion of this research is that there is a significant relationship between emotional intelligence and social interests with midwifery students learning achievements.
